Alcondez is an Actor, Director, Writer, Executive Producer and
Producer. Alejandro wishes to thank all of his fans that
continue to support his acting career and realizes that without their support
his dreams would not be fulfilled, but most of all
he is grateful to God for allowing him the opportunity to demonstrate his
talent through his many films.
Cielito Lindo "Beautiful Heaven" was produced in it's entirety by Alejandro Alcondez owner of Alejandro Alcondez Pictures. Releasing a film in the American market is one of the most difficult tasks, it is not easy and requires dedication and hard work. Determination and Perseverance is what allowed Mr. Alcondez to schedule his film for release in 2010, it was determined that Alejandro Alcondez Pictures would be the distributing company. Production of the film took place in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and it's beautiful surroundings including the local abandoned copper mines Las Minas de Aldama and Chihuahua Train Station (Chihuahua Pacifico) that had to be shut down delaying some departures. It took approximately 3 months to complete the filming of Cielito Lindo.
Many locals were used as extras including the participation of native Tarahumara Indigenous people using their original garments in the scenes. The film premiered at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater on May 27th 2010 and was well received by the public as well as the different news publications, it was released in theaters everywhere. The film was also exhibited for distinguished guest at the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, California where Mr. Alcondez was the guest of Honor.
Alejandro Alcondez received the “Jalisco Latino Pride Award” from the Jalisco Foundation, presented by the Assistant Secretary for Public Relations for the State of Jalisco, Mexico, for his long career in cinematography as director, producer, writer and actor, including his most recent American film Cielito Lindo “Beautiful Heaven”.
